Ian McGlinchy, Principal Adviser, Ministry of Transport 

Iain has been a Principal Adviser at the New Zealand Ministry of Transport since 2005.
He has been in the Ministry’s Demand Management and Revenue team since the start
of 2019 where he is responsible for Road User Charges policy and is also working on
policy around congestion pricing. He has worked in many areas in the Ministry over his
career including in the areas of environment, electric vehicles, driver training, road
safety, technology and transport revenue.
